To unlock Crew Splicing :
Crew Splicing replaces the old Crew Manage and Upgrade screens , but you keep the old Crew bonuses
Buy the “ Splice Aspect Automation ” and “ Adaptations Auto Cheapest ” AI upgrade ! If you may not afford both , prioritize the first one

Crew XP is useless for Crew Splicing
All Crew can be active , not limited by time slot or sleeves
Prestige resets nothing . Reinforce reset the Manage tabloid , but not Humanity / putridness upgrades .
Early Crew Splicing bonuses are weak , so focus on leveling :
When you unlock the 2d Aspect slot , in Automation options , do the facet you require to push acclimatization on to Max , and the other to Acclimation
Ignore upgrades until you have 2 + Crew and Corruption Tolerance for combined max Corruption of 20 +
To push mankind upgrade , localise Automation to Corruption / Acclimation / Acclimation for all Crew before Splicing
From what I understand about splicing :
you’re able to have all available spliced crowd member fighting as you unlock them .
select one of two uncommitted Specimen types to marry your gang with to “ publish ” them . Cleanse to “ retire ” them and make them inactive .
Select one of the bars to make advance , arrive at by vote out cap ship . Only one measure can come along at a time per crew appendage .
Discipline is hard to level up , but Specimen will hard stop forward motion after a while , as levels in Specimen impose Corruption ( at max depravity , no progress is made )
Discipline helps slim down corruption . point in Specimen bar also slowly give Acclimation which also reduces corruptness , but only for that chosen Specimen legal profession . work party can be Infused with the same type of Specimen ( taken from specimen research time value ) to increase the acclimation growth rate .
you may also upgrade Discipline Gain and Corruption Cap by spending resource , like you could with Crew XP and Crew Skill .
work party XP is useless . Crew Shard VIII is useless . The Crew XP Module will be bump off when unlocking Splicing . For all spirit and purposes , Mastery functions as the substitution for Crew XP .
issue :
Both Discipline and Specimen bars have 2 uncommitted acclivity node like onetime work party , with a 2d numerically stronger raise only uncommitted after 5 rank in a saloon . Only the Specimen bars will give you detail to apportion . While a gang is inactive , they can level up Adaptations passively . These Adaptations can either help oneself the crew phallus straightaway , or help some other organization like Capital Damage / Shields .
The Current Total Corruption or Total Humanity can be seen in the Upgrades Tab . Upgrade point are gained when the Current Total Humanity / Corruption exceeds a sealed point , meaning you must manage your crew to lean all towards one style or the other to advance upgrade point . These upgrades , as well as the amount required for the next point , persist through Reinforce . by EternalVigilante | G5 - S124/124
